Contemporary Islamic Studies: problematization of the issue of the Islamic comparative linguistics

Abstract

The article problematizes the issue of status, contents and place of the Islamic comparative studies in the contemporary Islamic studies system, shows its role and significance in the formation of «intercultural identity» and modern strategy of mutual understanding and agreement. The authors proceed from the thesis of the decisive significance of «falsafa» in the occurrence and development of the Islamic comparative studies as a scientific and humanitarian phenomenon that has become an invaluable experience of the comparative discourse, where the ideas of dialogue, tolerance and complementarity of cultures were laid. It shows the development of these principles in concepts of modern Islamic thinkers, the dialogue strategy of modern Kazakhstan as the ontological foundation of conservation of diversity of cultures and the condition of democratic development of the country.
