Abstract

Today Islam is one of the most pressing and debated issues. It is well known that Islam is divided into many currents and directions, and today it is quite tough competing with each other. Acts of terrorism, suicide attacks, conflicts in the religious sphere are often associated with Islam. Pseudo-Islamic groups are inherent in their own interests to use certain provisions of the religious doctrine of Islam. Such organizations have launched their activities in Kazakhstan. Therefore, to separate the activities and attitudes of pseudo-Islam from traditional Islam is an important problem of our time.

The main purpose of this article is to analyze the prerequisites for the emergence, formation, development of pseudo-Islamic organizations and the manifestation of their activities in Kazakhstan. Also, the difference between traditional Islam and pseudo-Islamic organizations and their influence on society is considered.
