Abstract

The article deals with the prerequisites for the emergence of Presbyterian currents, development and distribution at the world level. The relevance and novelty of the topic are related to the official registration of the Presbyterian Church in Kazakhstan, their missionary activity and the lack of special scientific works in this area.

The authors analyze the emergence of the doctrine of Presbyterianism in the country, especially their formation and spread as a religious trend. The authors also show the contrast of the Presbyterian teachings of the traditional Christian denominations and other Protestant denominations. Studying the missionary activity of Presbyterian religious organizations, the authors prove that the activities of these organizations are aimed at active agitation among different nationalities.  The Presbyterians, by effectively applying missionary methods and using their experience in providing special support to new members, increase the number of their ranks with new adherents.
