Abstract

This article analyzes the experience of spiritual teaching within Presbyterian churches in Kazakhstan, focusing on the religious and educational activities of Presbyterian communities in the city of Almaty. The study describes key practices such as catechesis, systematic Bible study, youth outreach, and methods of spiritual mentorship. In the study, the authors analyze the mechanisms of adapting traditional Protestant educational models to the socio-cultural context of Kazakhstan. Empirical data includes interviews with church members, participant observation, and internal church documents. The findings highlight the role of Presbyterian churches in shaping Christian values and reveal their strategies aimed at education and spiritual formation. This article will be of interest to scholars in the fields of religious studies and sociology of religion.
