Abstract

The contemporary Muslim ummah faces numerous challenges that, in various ways, undermine social cohesion and threaten its sustainability. This study examines the significance of acquiring soft skills and their practical application in light of the Glorious Qur’an and Sunnah, to benefit the Muslim ummah in today’s contexts. The soft skills explored include empathy, effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. Using a qualitative methodology, the research employs descriptive, thematic, and analytical approaches for data collection and analysis. The findings reveal that integrating these soft skills into the daily life of the Muslim ummah promotes personal and professional growth, strengthens interpersonal relationships, and contributes to a more harmonious and cohesive Muslim society. The study recommends that individuals, educators, professionals, and policymakers actively promote and implement these skills to foster mutual respect, uphold law and order, and build a civilized society rooted in Islamic principles. Such efforts are expected to reduce conflicts, counter radical ideologies, and enhance overall societal well-being and stability.
