Abstract

The article deals with historically important issues related to the penetration of Islam into the Golden Horde state.The Golden Horde was influenced by several decisive factors in the establishment of the Islamic religion.One of the first is the fact that this state acts as a connecting bridge between Eastern Europe and the north-west in trade, economic and cultural terms. The passage of the Great Silk Road through the Golden Horde was also not the last factor in this process. Because the merchants who crossed the Great Silk Road were not only engaged in the sale of goods,but also were distributors of various innovations and cultures. In this sense, it was the Arab merchants who paved the way for the arrival of Islam in the Golden Horde. The article also used the data of medieval historians and travelers,such as Ibn Ruste, Ibn Fadlan Al-Omari, to fully reveal the topic.With the arrival of Berke Khan to power in the Golden Horde,Islam began to take a somewhat wider wing in this state, but did not fully penetrate.. Because although Berke himself converted to the Muslim religion,the people of the Golden Horde were representatives of various religious denominations,such as shamanism, Tengrianism, Christianity.
