The anthropoetic concept of al-Ghazali

This article is devoted to one of the famous Muslim theologians of the Middle Ages al-Ghazali. The author of the article paid special attention to the views of the Muslim theologian, philosopher on spiritual improvement of man. Ghazali, being one of the founders of Muslim religious anthropology, comprehensively examines the problem of the spiritual development of man through the prism of Islam, based primarily on the Qur'an and the Sunnah. A well-known theologian considers the human problem, the existential essence of his being, his nature and purpose, the problem of moral values in the context of the "God-man" connection through the prism of Muslim theology, falsafa and the foundations of Sufism.
