The article deals with human problems in Taoism. The cosmocentrism of the ancient Chinese religious-philosophical system, the understanding of man as a microcosm, of the world as a macrocosm are revealed, and the connection between them is viewed visually, specifically. The analysis of the basic concepts of Taoism - dao, de, yin and yang, wu-wei and other important principles of Taoism - naturalness (zi zhen) and non-action (u-wei), which mean the rejection of deliberate, artificial activity that transforms nature, and the desire to follow the natural nature until a complete merger with the Path-Tao. The peculiarity of the solution of the problem of the perfect man in the Taoist teaching is shown through the u-wei principle, according to which he should not interfere with the dao, should not interfere in anything. The goal of human life, accordingly, is the rejection of all desires, detachment from the world of things, etc. The authors emphasize the peculiarity of the ontological, epistemological and ethical teachings of Taoism, many of which do not lose their relevance in our time.
