The relationship between state and religion in independent Kazakhstan

Abstract

The paper deals with topical issues of state-religious attitude in contemporary Kazakhstan. Today the state and religion are two essential elements of human nature that sustain and strengthen society. The history of the public-religious relations formation in Kazakhstan is considered in the paper.
Also the article analyses the religious situation in the country and the policy of the state in religious institutions. Overall, the article, based on current research gives approval, that the state-religious relations in Kazakhstan are developed according to the tolerance and understanding principles.
