The article examines the cause of young people in the care of religion, as well as studying the phenomenon of identification. The attitude of today’s youth to religion is considered as the level of knowledge of the content of religion and the degree of personal acceptance. The article reveals the correlation process of universal and private religion. The results of empirical research revealed that, despite the rise of religiosity among young people observed spontaneous initiation to its rites and unformed ideas about religious faith. Describes a substantial change of ethno-confessional balance, socio-economic difficulties are caused by leaving in religion not only young people, but also mature.
