Religious and philosophical sense of Kazakh beliefs and prohibitions

Abstract

This article is considered the religious and philosophical meaning of some Kazakh beliefs and prohibitions. In the context of globalization it`s especially important to modernize the system of beliefs and bans in the upbringing of the future generation. It is defined the concept of words “belief” and “prohibition”, and the historiography of the studied problem is considered.

Religious and mythological subtexts are determined, historical sources, essence and content of beliefs and prohibitions are analyzed. The authors note that in the life of Kazakh people over the centuries was formed the system of beliefs and prohibitions which have found reflection in everyday life, customs and traditions.  Since ancient time the beliefs and prohibitions have continued to be viable and passed on from generation to generation, they were connected by legends, mythical knowledge. It is a fact, at present time there are a number of changes in the content, the field of application is narrowed.
