Abstract

Currently, a proper understanding of Islam is one of the most pressing issues. Especially in the developed western countries, which influence other countries of the world, misleading the representation of Islam. Islamic civilization began to decline after the Western renaissance. Thus, Muslims remained behind the West in terms of politics, education and science. Invented, fictional stories by ordinary people and the development of science in the West led to a distorted misunderstanding of the censorship of Islam. Western scholars in the study of Islamic religious philosophy, history, culture and science argued, based on the study of the foundations of the Jewish and Christian religions. Most Western Orientalist researchers were those who did not hide their missionary service. Among such orientalist researchers, we can see their one-sided subjective views that tried to distorting the Islamic religion. This is one of the reasons why Islamic scholars condemn the Orientalists. Criticism and misinterpretation by the west orientalist of Islamic Hadith and the Prophet's Sunnah (pp.), which are the main criteria of Islam, are one of the main steps to forming a correct understanding of Islam not only in the west, but over the world.
