Analysis of the book "Manakibu Abi Khanifa" Imam az-Zahabi

Abstract

This article provides information about the book "Manakibu Abi Khanifa wa sahibayhi Abi Yusuf wa Muhammad Ibn al-Hasan", the author of which is a well-known scholar of hadith, historian and author of numerous biographical historically known works, Shamsuddin Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Ahmad az-Zahabi. As well as the content and main themes of the book will be briefly analyzed. Various issues will be considered, such as some biographical data relating to Abu Khanifa, the question of his classification as a "tabiin" and reliable data on his appearance, his behavior, character and relations with people in society. The article mentions that Imam Aazam Abu Khanifa possessed the noble qualities of real Muslims such as morality, morality, piety, humility, good character and generosity. And that it was characterized by attributes necessary for Islamic scholars, such as: wisdom and prudence, selflessness, abstinence from worldly good, deep thoughtfulness, special respect and love for science and enthusiasm for it, and all based on the stories and words of scholars who came from various reliable sources. The focus is on the views of influential imams who were contemporaries of Imam Abu Khanifa or those who lived after him.
