Abstract

The complex and contradictory collisions of the XX century brought to the fore a whole range of social and existential problems, among which, undoubtedly, belongs the problem of loneliness. Indeed, in traditional cultures, the individual remained included in a system of rigid social ties, which, on the one hand, did not allow the autonomy of the individual, but on the other hand, prevented the spread of the phenomena of alienation and loneliness. In the era of the formation of bourgeois relations, the process of forming an "atomic individual" began to actively develop. Atomicity has led to the rupture of system-forming connections in the systems man-man, man-culture, man-society. Thus, the very foundations of human existence in the world were destroyed, which led to the formation of both a number of new existentials of human existence and forms of their social manifestation.

Loneliness is a complex socio—spiritual phenomenon that affects the very essence of human existence. It is such a phenomenon, the existential meaning of which, it would seem, is clearly presented even to ordinary consciousness.
